Bob Bergmann questioned why cardboard put out for recycling is
being thrown in the truck with the garbage.
Clerk will check with garbage company.
Don Fox questioned whether the grass on the new Industrial
Park lots could be cut and the weeds by the pond fences cut. Clerk will have Public Works cut the weeds by
the ponds. The lots cannot be cut until
they are leveled.

UPDATE ON GEENEN LANE PROJECT
Chairman Maass stated that it is time to get this project
completed. Step 1 is to determine where
the right of way is going to be.
Attorney will contact Vanderloop to determine what his plans for the lot
are and what concessions will have to be made for placement of a septic tank to
make the lot buildable. Final decision
on ROW will be made at Sept. 12th board meeting.
REVIEW/APPROVAL OF STORMWATER MANAGEMENT

Gary
Sikich of Mead and Hunt stated that the Town request for grant money for
building stormwater ponds was ranked #30 and #31 by the DNR.

conditions as listed in letter from Gary Sikich and recommended by Steve

REPORT ON SCHAETZ PROPERTY ENCROACHMENT
Schaetz
is willing to grant an easement for the encroachment. The water main is 5’beyond the ROW and the
pavement is approx 10’ beyond ROW. The
spoils will be removed and replaced with topsoil. Sanitary District will work with the town on
the cost of the easement.
UPDATE ON WORKMAN’S COMP ISSUE
Party
has applied for a hearing with the State to review this issue.
UPDATE ON NIMS TRAINING
Jeff
Pollard gave the Board a list of classes that he is having that they may want
to attend. Certificates must be sent to
County by first week in September. Town
Board, Clerk’s office and Public Works Forman needs the 100, 200 and 700.

ATTORNEY’S REPORT
Calnin Annexation – Attorney will contact City of
Northern Environmental – Mtbe issue – Attorney will contact them concerning
site clean up letter that was sent out.

DEPARTMENT REPORTS
Park – Maass reported that the Athletic Association had
purchased 4 security cameras a recorder and a monitor for the park at a cost of
$3,112.00. The system already picked up
a video of the kids who burned down a port a pottie in the park and turned it
over to the police dept. for apprehension/prosecution.
Clerk/Public Works – Written reports from the Clerk and Public Works
Foreman were reviewed.
