CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE

Meeting called to order at 7:15 p.m.  Board members present: Tim Maass, Steve Lowney, Robert Valentine and Don Gonnering.  Also present:  Clerk Barbara Seegers, Atty Steve Frassetto and Adm Asst. Colleen Laha.  Pledge recited.

 

DISCUSSION/DECISION ON PURCHASE OF PREVEA CLINIC BUILDING FOR FUTURE TOWN HALL/POLICE DEPT

Don Gonnering and Donna Arndt spoke to keep the Prevea property as an option for a Town Hall and Police Dept.

 

Motion by Gonnering/Wm VandeWettering to appoint Eng. Steve Brueggeman as the ballot clerk.  MC

 

A Yes vote was to proceed with the option to purchase the Prevea Building and place it on the referendum.  A No vote would notify Prevea that the Town was no longer interested in the property.

Results: Yes – 7   No – 5  Prevea Building will be placed on referendum as an option

 

Motion by Wm. VandeWettering/Ziesemer to destroy the ballots.   MC

 

ADJOURN

Motion by Valentine/Lowney to adjourn the Town Meeting at 7:45 p.m.  MC
