ALERT
NOTICE: The Town of Freedom DPW crew has placed markers in the Country Fields Subdivision indicating where signage will be installed. These markers are stakes with pink ribbons. Please do not move them, as they are needed for Diggers Hotline to mark underground utilities. Once utility marking is complete, the DPW crew will proceed with installing Fire Number Signs and Road Signs. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this process

Lions Park

Town Park Concept EXHIBIT LIONS PARK 12 4 14 Layout1

Lions Park was constructed in 2014 from funds obtained through the Wisconsin Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program and donations from the Freedom Lions Club.  The park includes a 10-foot wide walking trail that encircles the town's recently constructed regional storm water detention pond.  Ammenities such as enhanced landscaping, benches, and a pond observation deck that will overlook the pond are planned to be built within the next few years.  Many of the improvements will be donated by the Boys Scouts.  The trail will eventually connect to CTH E from Schmidt Road and to a future trail into the Garden Estates Subdivision.
