Yard waste site access cards are now available for pickup at the Town Administrative Offices during regular business hours. Payment can be made by check or cash—please note that credit and debit cards are not accepted, and exact change is required for cash payments. The fees are as follows: • $5 one-time card fee • $25 annual usage fee Please note that beginning May 5, 2025, an access card will be required to enter the site.

VFW Memorial Park

 

VFW Memorial Park is located near the intersection of STH 55 and Columbia Ave. The original park was donated to the Town by the VFW. This park covers approx. 32 acres.  Facilities in the park include 4 softball diamonds, hardball diamond, soccer fields, a combination tennis/basketball court, a sand volleyball court, open and covered playground areas, a pavilion, 3 combination shelter/concession stands, skate park area, and restrooms. This park is heavily used for organized athletic activities. 

Park Rules

  • Park Hours are 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM Daily
  • Parks are closed from 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.  No public access during these hours.
  • Littering is prohibited.
  • No Glass Containers
  • Domestic Animals are not allowed in the parks *
  • Service animals are welcome
  • No excessive noise
  • No overnight camping or parking
  • No weapons
  • *Leashed and registered dogs are welcome at Lions Park.  Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

The pavilion, VFW Hall and Town Hall are available for rental by town residents.
